2007 Live Draft Tournament
Saturday, September 15th, 2007
Manager Matt Rhoads of the Erie Federal Credit Union won the first ever Live Draft Tournament behind the pitching of Dave Deck, Fred Whistler & the leadership of Tournament MVP shortstop Tommy Lewis.  The Credit Union began the day with a 4-3 win over 3 Chances Bar, followed by a second round win over Odis 12 / Steel City and won the winners bracket game over Hilltop Beer to secure a spot in the championship series. 

3 Chances Bar (P.J. Sheehan) rebounded from the early loss to the Erie Federal Credit Union by knocking out four straight teams in the losers bracket to reach the Championship game.  They eliminated Jerre's Service (Mike Potter) first, followed by Fisher Jewelers (George Higgins), then Odis 12 / Steel City (Doug Robinson) in ten innings and finally Hilltop Beer (Jason Erven) before losing to The Erie Federal Credit Union in the Championship game 2-1 for 2nd place.

The Erie Federal Credit Union finished 4-0.  Again congratulations to Matt Rhoads and all his players for first and P.J. Sheehan and his players for finishing in second.  Most importantly thanks to all the players who entered the tournament.  Hope everyone had a great time.  The goals where to see many of the players in our league co-existing to bring the league closer together, for many new players to experience what the game Big Ball is all about, to bring something new and exciting with the draft selection idea, raise money for the league for 2008 and finally to have one last day of Big Ball fun in 2007.  Truly, thanks again to all the players, coaches, fans, umpire help and especially Barry Dain Steinhagen for announcing all day long in the cold from early morning to late night.


2007 Playoffs
Championship Series- Friday, August 31st
Odis 12 / Steel City won the league championship for the second year in a row after defeating Three Chances / Fulton Club 3-0 in game one followed by a 2-1 victory in game two.  Matt Konieczki pitched seven shutout innings in game one posting one strikeout and only allowing five hits.  Ricky Cruz had a double while Jeremy Cook, Mike Miodus & Jim Colvin each drove in an RBI to help lead Odis 12 / Steel City to the first win of the series.  Bob Osborn pitched seven strong innings only allowing five hits as well.

In the second game John Joint knocked in two RBI's in the botton of the 5th inning to give Odis 12 / Steel City a 2-0 lead.  Jake Lewis knocked in an RBI in the top of the 7th and Three Chances / Fulton Club had an opportunity to tie the game with a runner on third and two outs but a groundout ended the game and gave Odis 12 / Steel City the two game sweep and there second straight City Rec Slo-Pitch Championship.  Congratulations to Three Chances / Fulton Club who finished the year as regular season champions at 18-2 and second place for the league.  Congratulations to Odis 12 / Steel City on there second straight league title.

Semi-Finals - Thursday, August 30th
At 12th & Hess Three Chances / Fulton Club hung on to beat Star Club in the opening game 2-1 andswept the series with an 8-0 win in the second game to move into the championship series on Friday night.

Odis 12 / Steel City lost the opening game 6-3 to J Bruno Construction in the best of three series.  Shawn " Boomer" Potts carried J Bruno to the win with all six RBI's in the game.  Boomer had an inside the park grand slam and a stand up double knocking in two RBI's in the top of the 6th inning to put the game out of reach.    Odis 12 / Steel City bounced back in the second game with a 5-0 win to even the series forcing a game three.  Matt Konieckzi posted the shutout from the hill.  Odis 12 / Steel City won the third game 8-1 and moved ino the Championship series on Friday night against Three Chances / Fulton Club.


Opening Round - Tuesday, August 28th
Star Club won the opening round series two games to one.  CYS Club won game one 13-3, Star Club won game two 5-0 and Star Club won the series with a 9-5 win to move on to the second round to face Three Chances / Fulton Club on Thursday night at 12th & Hess.  Game highlights coming soon.  J Bruno Construction faces Odis 12 / Steel City Thursday at 13th & Wayne in a best of three series.  Winner of each series plays for the league championship on Friday night.

Opening Round - Friday, August 24th
J Bruno Construction and Scooters Lounge opened the playoff series on Friday night.  Scooters Lounge scored three runs in the top of the 1st to take a 3-1 lead at the end of the first inning in the opening game.  But eight errors in the bottom of the second inning and great base running by J Bruno put the first game out of reach as J Bruno won 11-4 to take the opening game of the series.  Dave Deck picked up the win with one strikeout while Mike Voto, Jeff Golab and Ed Young Jr. each knocked in an RBI in the win.  Derrick McCall, Jim Reichard, Ken Simons, and T.T. Himes had the RBI's for Scooters Lounge in the loss. 

J Bruno completed the sweep with a 6-2 win to move to the second round to face Odis 12 / Steel City Thursday, August 30th.  L.J. Himes earned the win pitching seven innings only allowing two hits.  Donnie Watkins had two RBI's while Jack Cambra and Jason Erven each had one for J Bruno.  Derrick McCall and Joe Konieczki had one a piece for Scooters Lounge in the loss.  Dave Konieczki posted one strikeout in the loss for Scooters Lounge.

Friday, August 17th (End of Regular Season)
Three Chances/Fulton Club clinched the number one seed for the playoffs and won the regular season title on Friday night after beating CYS Club 13-3 in six innings. Tony Culver lead the way with a triple and four RBI's and won the season RBI title with 28 and lead the league in triples with five. Bob Osborn picked up 18th win of the year and lead the league. Three Chances/Fulton Club will have a first round bye and begin there championship run on Tuesday, August 28th at 12th & Hess. CYS Club finished the regular season at 5-15 and open the playoffs against Star Club on Thursday, August 23rd at 12th & Hess.

Odis 12/Steel City shutout Scooters Lounge 10-0 in five innings in the final game of the regular season to finish 17-3. Ryan Munson won his first and only start of the season on the mound. Ricky Cruz had a double to finish the regular season as the league leader at 15. Odis 12/Steel City will have an opening round bye and open there league title defense on Thursday, August 30th at 12th & Hess. Scooters Lounge finished the year at 2-18 and open the playoffs on Tuesday, August 21st against J Bruno Construction.

Thursday, August 16th
J Bruno Construction beat Scooters Lounge 8-1 and ended the season at 11-9 and clinched the third seed in the playoff bracket. Dave Deck picked up the win with the help of a pair of RBI's from L.J. Himes & Todd Bruno. Scooters Lounge fell to 2-17 and close out the regular season tomorrow night against Odis 12 / Steel City.

Three Chances / Fulton Club now stands one win away from winning the regular season title after defeating Star Club 3-1. Tony Culver had two triples and one RBI, Tom Lewis also triple while Jeff & J.D. DeVore each doubled. Star Club will forfeit tomorrow nights game ending there season at 7-13 and locking up the number four seed.

Tuesday, August 14th
Dave Brogdan's triple, inside the park home run & two RBI's help lead CYS Club over Star Club 10-3 on Tuesday night. Tom Petroff had a strikeout and added one RBI to help his own cause. Eric Ballentine knocked in two RBI's to remain in the top three for the league leaders in RBI's. Star Club fell to 7-11 on the year and clinched the number four seed for the playoff tournament.

Odis 12 / Steel City shutout J Bruno Construction 4-0 in there first of two games on the night. Roosevelt Benjamin carried the way with a double and two RBI's while Ryan Munson added another to his yearly total. Matt Konieczki picked up the win. Dave Deck pitched seven solid innings in the loss. J Bruno Construction earned the 3rd spot in the playoff tournament.

Ricky Cruz moved within one RBI of 3 Chances Tony Culver after knocking in two more against CYS Club with his league leading 13th double of the year. Matt Konieczki added one more strikeout to his league leading ten as well. Mike Miodus also doubled and had one RBI. Shannon Lofton had a double and the only RBI for CYS Club. CYS Club is the fifth seed in the playoff tournament.

Saturday, August 11th & Sunday, August 12th
Dempsey & Baxter continued there magic at the City Tournament winning for the fourth year in a row. Mike Potter was the Tournament MVP. Three Chances / Fulton Club represented the league finishing in second place and Joe B's Carpets / J Bruno Construction finished third with many league players joining together. Thanks to all the additional teams who participated.

Friday, August 10th
Odis 12/Steel City defeated CYS Club 10-0 in six innings. Mike Miodus and Jim Colvin each had an inside the park home run. Doug Robinson had a double, RBI and picked up his third win of the season from the mound. Ricky Cruz also added a pair of doubles while Mike Chludzinksi, Jim Colvin and Ryan Munson added one as well. Merle Edwards pitched six innings in the loss for CYS Club who fell to 4-13 on the season. Odis 12/Steel City now stands at 14-3.

Three Chances/Fulton Club squeezed out a 2-1 win in eight innings over Scooters Lounge in the second game of the night. Tom Lewis tallied the lone RBI for Three Chances/Fulton Club. Bob Osborn won his league leading 16th game of the year and put Three Chances/Fulton Club at 16-2 on the season in first place. Scooters dropped to 2-16. Jimmy Reichard had the only RBI for Scooters Lounge.

Doug's All Stars defeated Tom's All Stars 8-4. Ricky Cruz was named the All Star MVP.

Friday, August 3rd
Odis 12/Steel City beat Star Club for the second straight night with a 9-0 win. Ricky Cruz and Jeremy Cook each had a pair of doubles. Cruz also drove in two RBI's along with Roosevelt Benjamin. Matt Konieczki recorded his 12th win of the season from the hill and picked up his league leading ninth strikeout. Eric Ballentine had a triple for Star Club.

CYS Club swept the season series over Scooters Lounge with a 9-8 win on Friday night. CYS Club moved to 4-12 with all four victories coming at the expense of Scooters Lounge. Boomer Tolbert had a triple with two RBI's while Bobby Gates had a double and one RBI. Tom Petroff helped his own cause knocking in two RBI's while picking up his fourth win of the season.

3 Chances/Fulton Club jumped on J Bruno Construction in the top of the 1st inning with four runs to remain in first place after there 7-2 victory. Tony Culver had three doubles and an RBI to become the league leader in both categories. Jim Gillespie drove in two runs and Bob Osborn earned his league leading 15th victory as well. Brett Erven had an RBI and double in the loss for J Bruno Construction who fell to 9-8 on the year.

Thursday, August 2nd
Scooters Lounge won there second game of the year over Star Club 6-3 to split the season series. Joe Wienczkowski had two RBI's on his inside the park home run giving Scooters Lounge a lead they'd never lose. Dave Konieczki picked up his first win of the season from the circle. Steve Osterkamp had a triple and RBI in the loss for Star Club.

Odis 12/Steel City squeezed out a 2-1 win over Three Chances/Fulton Club in a defensive battle. Jake Lewis tripled in the top of the first and scored on Robbie Potts RBI single to give Three Chances/Fulton Club a 1-0 lead. Odis 12/Steel City answered in the bottom of the first when Ryan Munson tripled knocking in two RBI's helping Odis 12/Steel City move to 11-3 on the season. Odis 12/Steel City & Three Chances/Fulton Club split the season series. Three Chances/Fulton Club still remains alone in first place at 14-2.

Odis 12/Steel City won there second game of the night defeating Star Club 9-4. Jeremy Cook had a double & four RBI's, Mike Chludzinski doubled and drove in three RBI's & Ricky Cruz also doubled knocking in a pair of RBI's. Matt Konieczki picked up his tenth win of the year and Odis 12/Steel City now stands at 12-3 on the season. Steve Hudson doubled for Star Club & Eric Ballentine knocked in one RBI for Star Club who is 7-9 on the year.

Tuesday, July 31st
Three Chances/Fulton Club defeated Star Club 4-0. Tony Culver had a double and RBI while Tommy Lewis knocked in three RBI's. Bob Osborn pitched a one hitter for Three Chances/Fulton Club. Tom Lightner had the only hit for Star Club.

J Bruno Construction defeated CYS Club 6-2. Mike Potter had an inside the park home run and L.J. Himes secured the win to help J Bruno move to 9-7 on the season. CYS Club dropped to 3-11.

Three Chances/Fulton Club pounded CYS Club 14-0 in the final game of the night. Jake Lewis lead the way with a double, inside the park home run and RBI. Jim Gillespie, Dave Snippert & Johnny Canavan had three RBI's a piece. Bob Osborn pitched his second one hitter of the night to help Three Chances/Fulton Club remain in first at 14-1 while CYS Club feel to 3-12 on the season.

Friday, July 27th

Odis 12/Steel City scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to defeat J Bruno Construction 4 -3. The score remained tied at two before Todd Bruno hit an inside the park home run to right center field to give J Bruno the lead 3-2. Ryan Munson knocked in Mike Miodus to tie the game before John Joint drove in Steve Joint for the game winning run to move Odis 12/Steel City to 10-3 on the season while J Bruno dropped to 8-7.

Three Chances/Fulton Club held on to beat Scooters Lounge 3-2 in the second game. Dave Snippert and John Canavan each had an RBI while Chris Lewis added a double. Corey Folmar and Tim Orzechowski batted in two RBI's in the top of the 7th to cut the lead to one before Three Chances/Fulton Club ended the threat to remain in first place at 12-1. Scooters fell to 1-14.

Star Club ended there four game losing streak with a 5-0 victory over CYS Club in the final game of the night. Matt Lorman lead Star Club with two RBI's while Steve Osterkamp added another. Chip Charlton picked up his seventh win of the year on the hill. Star Club now stands at 7-6 while CYS Club is 3-10.

Tuesday, July 24th
Odis 12/Steel City won 2-0 in the opening game of three on Tuesday night over Scooter's Lounge. Ryan Munson had a double and RBI in the bottom of the 6th to secure the victory. Mike Chludzinski drove in the other RBI for Odis 12/Steel City. Fred Whistler pitched four innings while Ken Simons pitched the final two in the loss for Scooter's Lounge.

J Bruno Construction won 9-1 over Star Club in there first game of two to move to 7-6 on the season. Todd Bruno, Jason Erven & Brett Erven each had two RBI's in the game while Dave Deck picked up the win and struck out one player. Chip Charlton pitched for Star Club who fell to 6-6.

J Bruno Construction moved to 8-6 after beating Scooter's Lounge 8-4 in the final game of the night. Dave DEck won his second of the night and tallied two more strikeouts in the game. Mike Golab had two RBI's in the win. Dave Konieczki & Tim Orzechkowski had one RBI a piece in the loss. Scooter's fell to 1-13 on the season.

Friday, July 20th
Scooter's Lounge picked up there first win of the season Friday night over Star Club 9-7. Fred Whistler pitched six innings for the victory. Joe Dan Wienczkowski knocked in two RBI's while Derrick McCall, Jim Reichard, Ken Simons & Joe Koniecki each added one. Mark Kennelly drove in two while Eric Ballentine added added on RBI to there season RBI totals for Star Club in the loss. Star Club fell to 6-5 while Scooter's Lounge now stands at 1-11.

J Bruno Construction moved to 6-6 on the season after defeating CYS Club 8-3 in the second game of the night. LJ Himes picked up the win for J Bruno. Will SMith had two RBI's and Mike Potter added one in the win. Dave Brgdan had a triple & Tim Olsen had a double and RBI for CYS Club. CYS Club fell to 3-9.

Jim Gillespie's knocked in three runs to keep 3 Chances/Fulton Club securely in first place at 11-1 after a 5-1 win over Odis 12/Steel City in the final game Friday night. Tony Culver had two hits and RBI while Robbie Potts had three hits and an RBI. Bob Osborn earned his league leading 11th win from the hill. Brian Dewey had two hits and the only RBI for Odis 12/Steel City in the loss. Odis 12/Steel City fell to 8-3.

Tuesday, July 17th
Tony Culver knocked in six RBI's in the rain to lead 3 Chances to a 10-4 victory over Star Club and become the new league leader in RBI's for the season at 19 RBI's. Tom Lewis knocked in a pair as well while Rob Potts & George Higgins added the other. Eric Ballentine drove in his 15th RBI of the season in the loss.

Friday, July 13th
Tom Lewis, Chris Lewis, Ryan Mazocco & Tony Culver each had two hits for 3 Chances/Fulton Club in there 9-2 win over J Bruno Construction. Bob Osborn picked up win number nine from the mound and 3 Chances/Fulton Club remained at the top of the league at 9-1. Mike Potter and "Boomer" Potts knocked in the RBI's for J Bruno Construction in the loss.

Rick Kraus ended the drama for Scooters Lounge with an inside-the-park grand slam in the bottom of the fourth inning to help lead CYS Club to there third win of the season with a 14-8 victory. Dave Brogdan also added two RBI's for CYS Club. Joe "Dan" Wienczkowski lead Scooters Lounge in the loss with three RBI's and a double.


Thursday, July 12th
Chris Lewis had an inside-the-park home run and three RBI's for leading Three Chances / Fulton Club to a 9-0 win over CYS Club to remain in first place at 8-1. Bob Osborn pitched another shutout for Three Chances/Fulton Club. Dustin Fohner and Cory Bithel each had two hits for CYS Club who fell to 2-8 after the first two rounds of the season.

Tuesday, July 10th
Will Smith won his pitching debut for J Bruno Construction over Star Club 5-2. Smith posted one strikeout and knocked in two RBI's to help his own cause. Mike Golab drove in two RBI's for J Bruno in the win as they moved to 5-5 after the first half of the season. Mark Kennelly & Jason Stravers each had an RBI for Star Club as they fell to 6-3 on the season.

Odis 12/Steel City moved to 8-2 on the season with a 14-3 win over Scooters Lounge as they remained winless on the season at 0-10. Ricky Cruz was the team leader for Odis 12/Steel City with two doubles and four RBI's. Matt Konieckzi had three RBI's, one double, three strikeouts and picked up his sixth win of the seson on the mound. Nick Damon, Derrick McCall & Tim Orzechowski each earned one RBI in the loss.

Friday, July 6th
Ricky Cruz knocked in three RBI's and Matt Konieczki pitched a complete game and had one strikeout to help Odis 12/Steel City beat CYS Club 7-2. Brian Dewey, Mike Chludzinski, Mike Miodus & Brad Braggins each added one RBI for Odis 12 /Steel City. Dustin Fohner & Dave Brogdan had one RBI a piece for CYS Club in the loss.

Mike Voto's sacrifice fly with bases loaded to left field in the bottom of the seventh scored the game winning run for J Bruno Construction over Scooters Lounge on Friday night. Voto and Jeff Golab had two RBI's for J Bruno and L.J. Himes earned his first win of the season. Nick Damon had an inside the park home run and Dave Konieczki had a triple for Scooters in the 6-5 loss to J Bruno.

Friday, June 29th
Tony Culver lead 3 Chances/Fulton Club over Scooters Lounge with a double, triple and three RBI's in a 11-6 win to open Friday nights tripleheader. J.D. Devore also had three RBI's and added a doule while Rob Potts knocked in two RBI's as well. Bob Osborn picked up his league leading seventh win from the mound pitching seven innings for the win. Tim Orzechowski tallied two RBI's for Scooters in the loss.

Star Club beat CYS Club for the second straight night and remained in a tie for second place at 6-2. Mark Kennelly had four RBI's and Eric Ballentine had a triple plus three RBI's to continue to lead the league. Chip Charlton won his sixth game of the year. Tim Olson had an inside the park home run and Rick Kraus had a triple for CYS Club in the loss.

Roosevelt Benjamin and Ricky Cruz each had an inside the park home runs for Odis 12/Steel City in there 10-1 victory over J Bruno Construction. Mike Miodus had a double and two RBI's. Matt Konieczki had one strikeout and pitched six innings to pickup his fourth win of the season. Ed Young Jr. had a double and an RBI for J Bruno Construction.


Thursday, June 28th
Odis 12/Steel City moved into second place with a 7-0 win over Star Club. Matt "Fatty" Conner's RBI double in the top of the 4th put Odis 12/Steel City up and they never looked back. Ricky Cruz and Jeremy Cook each added a pair of RBI's and Dustin Beraducci's double also included an RBI. Matt Konieczki pitched the shutout for Odis 12/Steel City. Star Club dropped to 4-2.

Star Club rebounded in there round one rain make-up against CYS Club with a 7-4 victory. Star Club scored all seven runs in the bottom of the 3rd with two RBI's coming from Frank Thomas and Eric Ballentine and one RBI from Justin Galla and Dan Orzechowski. Randy Maczocco had a double and RBI plus Merle Edwards knocked in two RBI's for CYS Club. Star Club moved to 5-2 on the season while CYS Club stands at 2-5.

Tuesday, June 26th
CYS Club moved to 2-4 after beating Scooters Lounge 8-3 on Tuesday night. Tom Petroff earned the win and helped his own cause with a double and one RBI. Randy Maczocco contributed with two RBI's and Dustin Fohner had three hits for CYS Club. Timmy Orzechowski had two RBI's, Nick Damon had one and Jimmy Reichard had a double for Scooter's Lounge in the loss.

Three Chances/Fulton Club defeated J Bruno Construction 12-2 in the second game of the night and remained in first place at 6-1. J Bruno Construction fell to 3-4. Rob Potts had an inside the park home run for 3 Chances and tallied three RBI's. Tommy Lewis had a double and three RBI's and Tony Culver had also had a double with two RBI's. Friday, June 22nd
J Bruno Construction moved to 3-3 on the season with a 11-9 win over CYS Club to open the night on Friday. Todd Bruno had a triple, RBI and pitched seven innings in the win. Mike Voto added a double and two RBI's for J Bruno Construction. Bobby Gates had two doubles and two RBI's for CYS Club in the loss. J Bruno Construction stands alone in fourth at 3-3 while CYS Club dropped to 1-4 for fifth place.

Ricky Cruz's double in the bottom of the 7th scored Mike Miodus to even the score before Mike Chludzinski's single drove in the winning run to lift Odis 12/Steel City over 3 Chances/Fulton Club 4-3. Mike Miodus had three hits for Odis 12/Steel City and Cruz had two doubles and two RBI's. Matt Konieczki pitched a complete game for the win. Dave Snippert had two RBI's for 3 Chances/Fulton Club. Odis 12/Steel City moved to 4-2 while 3 Chances/Fulton Club picked up there first loss of the season but still remain in 1st place at 5-1.

Joe Cilladi lead Star Club to a 15-7 victory with five RBI's. Ed Young "Dirt" added three RBI's and Matt Lorman tallied two as well. Chip Charlton picked up his fourth win of the season for Star Club. Joe Rendulic fueled the late comeback effort for Scooter's Lounge with four RBI's and a double. Star Club remains in 2nd place at 4-1 while Scooters remains the only winless team at 0-6.

Thursday, June 21st
Three Chances/Fulton Club defeated Scooter's Lounge 11-1 in five innings. Jake Lewis had two hits while Tom Lewis and Tony Culver drove in two runs each for Three Chances/Fulton Club. Bob Osborn pitched all seven innings picking up his fifth win of the season. Tim Orzechowski had the only RBI for Scooter's Lounge.

Mike Chludzinski's single in the 3rd inning scored two runs and helped lead Odis 12/Steel City to a 8-0 win over J Bruno Construction. Doug Robinson pitched six scoreless innings for Odis 12/Steel City for his second win of the season. Bobby Burns also knocked in two runs for Odis 12/Steel City. Todd Bruno pitched all seven innings for J Bruno Construction in the loss.

Friday, June 15th
Three Chances/Fulton Club posted there third shutout of the season after beating Odis 12/Steel City 6-0 on Friday night. Bob Osborn pitched a one hitter and remains perfect on the mound at 4-0 for Three Chances/Fulton Club. John Canavan picked up two RBI's with his sixth inning double helping break the game wide open for Three Chances/Fulton Club. Three Chances/Fulton Club stands alone in first at 4-0 while Odis 12/Steel City dropped to 2-2 on the season.

Eric Ballentine owned the night leading Star Club over Scooters Lounge 18-3 in five innings of play. Ballentine had a triple, home run and recorded six RBI's in the game. Mark Kennelly also homered for Star Club and knocked in three RBI's. Chip Charlton earned his third win in the blowout. Tim Orzechowski had two RBI's and a double for Scooter's Lounge.


Thursday, June 14th
Justin Galla and Matt Lorman each had an RBI for Star Club in there 2-0 win over J Bruno Construction during the opening game. Chip Charlton picked up his second win of the season for Star Club. Greg Figurski had one strikeout and only allowed three hits in the loss for J Bruno Construction. Star Club's record moved to 2-1 for the season.

J Bruno Construction bounced back in the second game of the night defeating CYS Club 5-1. Dustin Fohner and Brett Erven carried J Bruno Construction to the victory. Fohmer had a triple and two RBI's while Erven had a triple, double and one RBI. Kyle Husted picked up his league leading 7th RBI for CYS Club and Merle Edwards recorded his first strikeout of the season in the loss. J Bruno Construction moved to 2-2 while CYS Club drops to 1-3 on the season.

Tuesday, June 12th
Johnny Canavan's two run double in the top of the 7th lifted 3 Chances/Fulton Club over CYS Club 6 to 4. Tony Culver had an RBI and triple for 3 Chances/ Fulton Club. Bobby Osborn pitched seven innings for his third win of the season and posted two strikeouts in the game. Dave Brogdan had two RBI's and Merle Edwards pitched seven strong innings in the loss for CYS Club. 3 Chances/Fulton Club remain the only undefeated team in the league at 3-0.

The second game of the night seen Odis 12/Steel City beat Scooters Lounge 12-2 in five innings. Ryan Munson, Jeremy Cook, John Joint, Matt Conner & Mike Miodus each had two RBI's for Odis 12/Steel City. Matt Konieczki picked up the win for Odis 12/Steel City. Derrick McCall and Ken Simon each doubled and had an RBI for Scooter's Lounge.

Thursday, June 7th
In the opening game of the night Odis 12/Steel City beat CYS Club 13-4. Mike Miodus, Mike Chludzinski and Doug Robinson had three hits a piece for Odis 12/Steel City. Miodus had three RBI's and Robinson pitched seven innings for the win. Bobby Burns had an inside the park home run for Odis 12/Steel City. Rick Kraus, Merle Edwards & Chris Pacely each tripled for CYS Club in the loss.

In the second game 3 Chances/Fulton Club posted there second straight shutout win defeating Star Club 7-0. John Canavan had three RBI's and a double while Tom Lewis had two RBI's with a double as well. Bob Osborn has pitched fourteen scoreless innings to open the season in picking up his second win of the season. Ed Young and Eric Ballentine each doubled for Star Club.

J Bruno Construction picked up there first win of the season in defeating Scooters Lounge 10-1. Greg Figurski shut down Scooters Lounge allowing just one run. Ed Young Jr. lit the night up with an inside the park home run and four RBI's for J Bruno Construction. Bill Post tallied three RBI's and a double for J Bruno Construction. Fred Whistler struckout two for Scooters Lounge in the loss.

Opening Night June 1st
Opening night began with CYS Club scoring eleven runs in the bottom half of the first inning on their way to a 13 - 1 victory over Scooters Lounge. Bobby Gates tripled and Kyle Husted hit an inside the park home run in the first inning helping CYS Club to the opening day win. Tom Petroff pitched seven innings for the CYS Club and allowed only one run. Derrick McCall had the lone RBI for Scooter's Lounge.

Game two had Three Chances / Fulton Club blanking J Bruno Construction 8 - 0. Bob Osborn pitched a seven inning shutout for the Three Chances / Fulton Club. Tony Culver lead Three Chances / Fulton Club with three hits and two RBI's.

In the nightcap Star Club pounded Odis 12 / Steel City 9 - 1. Chip Charlton recorded two strikeouts while picking up the opening day win. Mike Potter had two hits and an inside the park home run while Eric Ballentine's two run double in the sixth put the game out of reach. Jeremy Cook had the lone RBI for Odis 12 / Steel City.
