PLAYOFF RANKINGS

1.  ODIS 12 / STEEL CITY (#1 seed) –
They will have a much needed rest before opening playoff series against Jerre's Service on Tuesday night.  Bats could come out slow with so much time off but defense should come together to keep them mentally strong.  They sweep Jerre's during regular season but Jerre's has been hitting the ball and scoring runs all season.  Should be a fantastic series with a trip to the championship on the line for one of them.

2.  HILLTOP BEER (#2 seed) - They hold the number two spot after winning the last head to head matchup in the season.  If they can get back into the groove that got them to the number two seed they should be able to beat Three Chances / Fulton Club in the best of three for a chance at the league title in year number one.

3.  THREE CHANCES / FULTON CLUB (#3 seed) - These guys just seem to win all the games they should and look to win two more to make their third straight trip to the league championship series.  They've lost the last two and not getting back could be a big challenge for them during the offseason. But winning it this season would not be a shock with the talent and team chemistry they have had the past years.

4.  JERRE'S SERVICE (#4 seed)  - They should be very excited to be in the final four and just two wins away from the championship series in their first year in the league.  They've hit the ball as good if not better than every other team in the league.  Youth versus experience should make for an interesting and exciting series to see who moves on in the Big Ball playoffs.

1.  ODIS 12 / STEEL CITY (17-3) – They finished as regular season champions winning 17 games and securing a first round bye and home team advantage in the Big Ball playoffs.  Rest and recovery time should allow them to heal before they make their run at a third straight league title.  They will face the lowest seeded winner of the opening round playoffs the second week of the playoffs.

2.  HILLTOP BEER (15-5) - They clinched the number two seed and a first round bye in the playoffs after a 9-1 record in the second half of the season.  They won't play again until the night before the championship series but rest and practices should put them in position to make a run at the league championship.

3.  THREE CHANCES / FULTON CLUB (14-6) - They secured the number three seed for the playoffs and face the winner of the one game playoff between Scot Tees and Community Blood Bank.  They've always seemed to feast on younger and first year teams in the season and playoffs.  Seeing them make a serious move for the league championship would be no surprise in the championship chase.

4.  JERRE'S SERVICE (13-7)  - They face J Bruno Construction in a best of three series after a successful regular season clinching the number four seed.  They've aleady beaten J Bruno all three times they've faced them in the season but must now beat them two more times to move into round number two.  They've owned J Bruno all year but experience and many other elements can happen in the playoffs.

5.  J BRUNO CONSTRUCTION (12-8) - They've not beaten Jerre's Service all season and now they must try to win two out of three games in one night.  Playoff fever, league experience and team intensity could give J Bruno the perfect timing to finally beat Jerre's Service when it truly matters most.

6.  SCOT TEES (9-11) - They slip in at the number six seed based on never giving up and finding a way to earn a one game playoff against the Community Blood Bank for the final seed in the playoffs.  The tough news is if they do win they will have to beat Three Chances / Fulton Club in a best of three series.  But making the league playoffs in the opening year with so much young talent would be a victory in itself.

7.  COMMUNITY BLOOD BANK (9-11) - They won when they had to on Friday night against Sherlocks / Park Place and must now win again against Scot Tees or their playoff hopes will be shot.  The experience definitely favors the Blood Bank but the determination and passion of Scot Tees for the playoffs could be trouble for the Blood Bank.

8.  SIX PACK HOUSE OF BEER (4-16)  - They will face Sherlocks / Park Place in the B single elimination playoff as seed number nine.  This team has easily made the most improvements out of the bottom three in the league.  Sherlocks / Park Place beat them two games to one in the season but that was early in the year and these two teams are heading in completely different directions.

9. SCOOTERS LOUNGE (3-17) - Finished with the worst record in the league and will face the loser of Scot Tees and Community Blood Bank.  Their chances don't seem to favorable but one good night could earn them a trophy that they probably won't expect.

10. SHERLOCKS / PARK PLACE (4-16) - They have officially hit rock bottom for the season and must be celebrating it finally ended.  Now they have to come together for one one night and fight for two wins to try finish out the season like they started with intensity and a couple wins.
