June - Steel 12 Grub & Chug
Steel 12 Grub & Chug earned Erie Times-News Team of the Month for June posting a record of 7-1 and outscoring opponents by a score of 69-21 with two shutouts.  Matt Konieczki has continued his long term success from the mound with a total of 13 wins from the hill and league leading 21 strikeouts for the season through the end of June.  Konieczki has had the help of solid defense from league standout Mark Tupek along with Jason Stravinsky, Ryan Munson and Jim Colvin.  Mike Miodus, Dustin Berarducci, Chris Loomis and Mark Kennelley have been solid from the outfield for Steel 12.  From the plate Mark Tupek, Ryan Munson, Chris Loomis, Mike Chludzinski, Dustin Berarducci, Brian Dewey have consistently led the team with multiple hit games while Jim Colvin and Joe Cilladi have delivered big hits and multiple RBI games for Steel 12.  They look to stay focused on the season and try to win their fourth regular season title in five years and third league championship in five years.

May - Hilltop Beer
Hilltop Beer finished the opening month of the season undefeated at 5-0 outscoring opponents 69-9.  Over the five game span they have defeated each team by ten runs or more.  Solid pitching by newly acquired Dave Deck has given them a solid pitcher with a great defense surrounding him.  Hilltop has erupted at the plate in the opening month of the season with some more new stars including Pat Kitelinger who has hit three home runs in the opening month including two over the fence (11th & 12th Hess).  Brandon Richardson has also joined the fun knocking two home runs over the right field fence at 11th & Hess in the same game.  Jeremy Cook has also been on fire with the bat all season with one inside the park home run and numerous RBI's.  Hilltop Beer remains one of three undefeated teams in the league at the end of the opening month of the season and number one in the GoErie.com power rankings to finish off the month of May.
